            Diwali or Deepavali is the India's biggest and most important holiday of the year. The festival gets its name from the row (avali) of clay lamps (deepa) that Indians light outside their homes to symbolize the inner light that protects from spiritual darkness. The part we love most about Diwali, is dressing up! Be it for office parties, family dinners, or parties, getting all decked up is always exciting.

1      1. SHARARAS AND GARARAS

        Shararas are basically fall straight and give the look and feel of a lehenga skirt as the pleats or the flares starts way up above the knee. These can be worn with a pair of big earrings and nude makeup with a beautiful wavy hairstyle or even a messy bun.  While sharara is the baap of the brigade, the gharara is its glamorous cousin. In current lingo, gharara is the millennial update. It’s a pair of well-structured pants that are cut close to the body till the knee and flare out at the knee or a little above the knee. A gharara is usually paired with a shorter (mid-thigh length) kameez.

 

2.      INDO WESTERN OUTIFTS

            Indo western dresses for womens are the new look in Indian fashion these days. Even though they are not preferred by many people, they are so comfy and look so stylish. Who knew so many combinations can be made by combining a simple white t-shirt with a saree or a skirt!!
